Sharon Ann Miller
Sharon Miller has degrees in science, social work and philosophy, including a minor in linguistics and a master’s in philosophy. While in academic philosophy at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville she had highest honors, was awarded a fellowship at SIU, taught there as a Fellow, and later taught logic and philosophy at Lewis and Clark College in Godfrey, Illinois, and at St. Louis Community Colleges. It was while studying philosophy that she became interested in cosmology, and while studying linguistics that she became interested in the ancient nature-astral religions. The old religions taught that there were twelve fundamental principles or ‘archetypes’ (various referred to as ‘gods’) behind the creation of the world. Her master’s thesis in philosophy at SIU was on the subject of the twelve archetypes in these old religions and their capacity to be used to construct a philosophical metaphysical system or cosmology. The New Paradigm is the mature development of those ideas, utilizing physics as well as philosophy to support and justify the details of the cosmology. The fundamental laws of physics can be correlated to the twelve archetypes. What has moved Miller to continue on with this lifelong pursuit is that the archetypes indicate that the very laws of physics are spiritual laws. The material universe created by these laws is apparently intended to be a spiritual one. This is a very different slant on cosmology compared to the current materialistic scientific paradigm.
In addition to teaching logic and philosophy, Sharon Miller has also worked as a child-welfare specialist for the State of Illinois advocating for neglected and abused children. She now spends her time furthering and developing this new and yet very old model of the universe which she believes is able to rationally bridge science and spirituality. Her theoretical background combined with her practical experiences with families brings a unique blend to her philosophy which is directed, not towards intellectuals in the field of philosophy, but towards ordinary people who want to know who and what they are, what the purpose of their life is, even why they are subject to pain and suffering. She lives in the US.
